About Free Delivery

Most but not all orders of £75.00 or more are delivered FREE of charge to UK Mainland addresses. Some items are exempt from this offer. On some items we strongly recommend a pallet delivery as a courier delivery is not possible (for example large Hayter mowers can be collected or delivered on pallet at extra cost). We will endeavour to highlight these items on the product page whenever possible but reserve the right to notify you of this later.

Some products with a Wh rating of over 100Wh need to be shipped via a HAZMAT network and for that reason will have a shipping supplement applied: Non-exhaustive list of examples: BOROTAK43LIERGO4AH, BOROTAK43LIERGO4AH-2, GWG40B4, GWG60B2, GWG60B4, GWG60B6, MCLI58T, MCLI58CS, MCLI58HT, MCLI58GB, WER16LIHP, WERR17LIP.

Some geographical restrictions apply and we are unable to offer free delivery to the Scottish Highlands, Northern Ireland, and off-shore UK addresses. For a full list of restricted addresses and delivery prices, please view the delivery table below. Full carriage charges are calculated during the checkout.

Carriage charges will apply for all orders under £75.00, and all Special Order Parts of any value, regardless of country. Any special order items or items stated as such will be charged carriage and will be quoted for during the checkout or at time of purchase. Carriage is payable on all Aspen orders.

Please note: Nearly all of the items we sell unless specified will come boxed and will require some assembly. For example, on lawnmowers you will be required to put the handles on and clip the grassbox together. Basic tools such as an adjustable spanner or screwdriver may be required.

Chemicals, Fertiliser, Weed Killer and the like is excluded from free delivery.

* Please note; “24” or “48” refers to the name of the service used to dispatch the items, it is not a guarantee of delivery times. Some spare parts that are not kept “on the shelf” may be ordered for you on-demand, and so some time may pass between and order being received and ultimately dispatched to you. Your patience at high-demand times (March – July) is appreciated. We do everything we can to get your parts to you as soon as possible.

NOTE: International Orders: may take considerably longer and are often not trackable depending on the country and service used. Please note we will dispatch international orders but are unable to subsequently make them get to you any faster. If you are an international customer outside of UK you must allow plently of time for your order to be delivered. We take no liability for wrongly ordered items (see below).

Special Order Parts

Spare parts can be researched on a “best endeavours” basis, based on information supplied by the customer. It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure the information provided is correct. Special order items are supplied on a non-returnable basis unless faulty. No refunds can be given for parts that have been ordered specially which turn out to be incorrect. Certain items may also be listed as a special order item and are also non-returnable.

PLEASE NOTE: All Special Order items and parts are subject to a non-refundable minimum carriage charge of £4.20.

We require that at least six weeks has elapsed before we will accept a cancellation of a Special Order – this is to allow international delivery and manufacturing schedules to be completed. We will not cancel or refund any Special Orders before this time allowance.Petrol Engine Machines

Petrol Engine Machines

Petrol powered machines are supplied “Dry” – this means you need to add motor oil before using. You should read the operators manual fully before use. If you do not have a manual you need to contact us immediately before using the machine. Failure to use the correct oil with your machine will result in damage to the engine.

All petrol machines use standard Unleaded Petrol, and you will need to purchase this. We recommend “Aspen Fuel”.

Petrol machines do NOT run on diesel fuel unless specifically designed to. For 2-Stroke engined machines, 2-Stroke Oil will need to be added to the petrol at the correct mixing ratio – as provided in the user manual / manufacturer’s specification. Failue to do this will result in a non-warranty failure.

Safety First – Always Read The Manual

You should always read the manual before use. If you do not have a manual you should request one and not use the machine until you have it and have read the operating instructions.

Children, or any persons who have not read the operating instructions, should not be allowed to use machinery.

Use of all machinery is at the operators risk. Mower Magic Ltd take no responsibility whatsoever for accidents arising from use of machinery.

Packaging

Where possible we aim to reuse packaging that our suppliers send us, so your order may arrive in a box branded with another company on it. No matter what box we use, we will always make it’s packed securely so it arrives as you’d expect.

Please retain all packaging materials until you are happy that the product is correct, undamaged and fully working. For products delivered on pallets, please retain the pallet until you are certain the product is correct, undamaged and fully working. For any collections of products that were originally sent on a pallet, the product will need to be re-palletised by the customer before a collection can take place.

Warranty

The products selected for sale are built to the highest standards of quality and performance and our warranty policy is a statement of confidence.

Warranty and After Sales Support
The manufacturer of each product provides warranty on its products against defects in materials and workmanship. The products have been manufactured to the highest quality standards and are guaranteed for domestic use against faulty parts or manufacture.

Warranty covers all parts and labour undertaken on your machine covered by this policy. This is conditional upon the repairs being carried out by an approved service dealer.

On all products, delivery and collection of the machine is the owner’s responsibility and not covered by this policy.

Many brands we sell have a network of service agents. To assess your claim or problem, you will be directed to your nearest service agent. We will not collect any machine for assessment of warranty claims until we have tried at least three service agents first.

Warranty Periods

The warranty period starts from the date of purchase by the consumer.

Warranty periods are those effective at the time of purchase and published in literature and on our website. Warranties are conditional on the product being used domestically and being serviced at the recommended intervals.

For products used commercially (i.e. for hire or by contractors, local councils, caravan sites, water authorities, or any similar use where the machine is employed for financial gain or is instrumental in being employed on properties being used for financial gain) the warranty period will be stated on the product, otherwise 30 days.

Batteries and battery chargers on all products carry a 12 months warranty, except for the 24V, 48V and 80V Lithium-Ion products that carry a 2-year warranty.

Should a product be replaced under warranty, the warranty period will remain effective from the original date of purchase.

Exclusions

The Warranty will NOT cover the following:

* Consumable items, e.g. tyres, belts and blades (unless accompanied by evidence, satisfactory to Stiga Ltd., of mechanical failure).
* Second-hand goods.
* Defects which, in the opinion of us are in any way, or to any extent, attributed to:
— ordinary wear and tear;
— misuse / accidental damage;

* Failure to carry out the handling and operating instructions set out in the Owner’s Instruction Manual;
* Lack of reasonable care;
* The fitting of parts, replacements or extra components which are not supplied or approved by the manufacturer;
* Contaminated/stale fuel.
* Products currently stored outside of the United Kingdom.
* Periodic maintenance services instructed by the operator’s manual, or service parts replacement which would include oil, filters, batteries, brake linings, fabric grass bags, fuses and other service parts unless it can be proven that the item has evidence of faulty manufacture. These items can fail due to normal wear, or through lack of maintenance.

Servicing and Warranty

Some qualifying lawnmowers will carry a 3-year or 5-year conditional warranty from the date of purchase when used domestically. This warranty is not transferable.

To maintain your warranty your machine must be serviced by an authorised service centre.

To maintain a 3 or 5 year warranty the machine must be serviced before the end of the 2nd year of ownership and annually thereafter. Evidence of servicing will need to be produced when making a claim. Failure to keep the machine serviced at these intervals will result in the warranty reverting to a standard 2 year period.

Please be aware that when using your machine in certain conditions it will require additional servicing or maintenance as recommended in your user manual.

These conditions include, but are not limited to:
wet weather
dry and dusty conditions
high temperatures
daily use of the machine.

Spare Parts
Please note that spare part purchases are excluded from this warranty policy.
We may use discretion, in exceptional circumstances to replace a part that is deemed faulty, subsequent to fitting by an authorised service dealer.

Mower Magic Ltd. will under no circumstances be liable for special incidental or consequential damages if they are due to any misuse or improper use of the products.

Mower Magic Ltd.’s obligations under this warranty are to repair or replace any faulty products meeting the above terms. The decision between repair or replacement will be entirely at Mower Magic Ltd.’s discretion.

Warranty is provided in addition to your statutory rights.
